Blogmas Day 3: My Holiday Bucket List
This year has absolutely flown by! I can’t believe summer’s over (been saying this since June, haha) and we’ll welcome 2026 in a few short weeks. All this to say, the holidays are well and here, and if I don’t write a holiday to do list, it’s incredibly likely that I’ll sit by the tree admiring the lights until spring. Jokes, jokes. But lists are motivational, right?
This is my third year asking Husband Claus… KYLE, this one is for you, I’m putting it in the TOP spot so that YOU, Kyle, will see it. I want to go on a festive Columbus date. Take me to the Santa bar! I want to see the lights! I’m missing out!
Shop small. I love to shop small, and you should too! Local is awesome, but if you’re not sure where to start, Etsy is the place. I’m not exaggerating at all when I tell you that Etsy is the Amazon of shopping small. If you can dream it up, someone (with rave selling reviews) has made it. If you’re local to Columbus, try out Little Sky Stone, Tigertree, or attend one of the upcoming Not Your Mama’s Craft Markets!
Complete my 12 Days of Puzzles advent calendar! My bestie surprised me with the most fun puzzle advent calendar, and lemme just say, I got a head start on these and will absolutely be finishing all 12, along with our traditional household 1,000 piece Christmas Eve puzzle.
Do some holiday baking! Last year we dreamt up some fun new flavors of Oreo Truffles - who knows what I’ll bake up this year?! Actually, I do know! A friend at work made the most insane gluten free chocolate chip cookies, and you best believe I’ll be trying my hand at those this month!
Best for last, I’m keeping the reason for the season as my focus. I’m trying to slow down, spend intentional time with my loved ones, and rest up for a new year full of welcomed blessings and challenges, too!
What’s on your holiday bucket list?
