Blogmas Day 6: Ultimate Stocking Stuffers
Around our house, we take stockings very seriously. Over the years I, along with friends and family, have come up with an elite list of stocking stuffer ideas. Sharing so you can also be the queens and kings of stocking gifts this holiday season!
In the beauty realm:
Travel size Makeup Erasers are the perfect gift for your resident makeup wearer. Idk what sort of magic is in these things, but they work so well
Hand creams are a winter must have. My new favorite Hempz Pink Peppermint Meringue, which smells amazing, and is super moisturizing and affordable
Everyone needs a lip product in their stocking, and my budget choice is forever and always Candy Cane CapStick but my higher end choice in a league all its own is Glossier Balm Dotcom
Travel size makeup is also great for stockings, and Sephora has a whole minis section to peruse
In the world of quirky stocking stuffers:
Ornaments are always a great idea. A close pal got me a hilarious Birkenstock ornament last year! There’s a whole world of custom (even on amazon) and DIY ornaments too
Socks are a great stocking stuffer, and I’ll mention these Imogene and Willie ones again, because they’re so freaking cute
An assortment of greeting cards was an idea from my bestie, and it’s a good one! I find myself collecting greeting cards throughout the year, and why not share them with someone else? Mix and match not your thing? A nice set of blank cards like these are great too!
We also love a utilitarian stocking stuffer, and I have so many, we’re going to do a speed round:
A mini lint roller from flint - I stand by the fact that everyone over the age of 20 needs one of these
A USB desk fan because office buildings have two temps, and one of them is very hot
A set of your giftee’s favorite pens - mine are Pilot Frixion Erasable pens
A headphone cleaning pen (my gosh can you tell I work a desk job?! 🫠)
A bag sealer for all your half eaten snacks
A Stitchy for on-the-go wardrobe fixes like single stitching your tank strap to your bra strap for all day no-show (I actually got one recently and it’s cool!!)
An AirTag wallet or keychain for anyone in your life who’s a teensy bit forgetful
When it comes to candy, here are the universal favorites in my circle:
Nerd Rope, Nerd Gummy Clusters, Terry’s Chocolate Orange, Life Savers Storybook, Wiley Wallaby, and Ferrero Rocher
For miscellaneous, love these ideas:
POKEMON CARDS (emphatically!! Bc nostalgia, surprise, etc.), gift cards, lottery tickets, friendship bracelets, hand sanitizer, mini bottles, vitamins, toothbrush heads, undies, and scrunchies
A carefully curated stocking can be such a fun, personalized gift, even on a budget. I hope all of these ideas gave you some holiday inspirations!
