Hello from Santa’s workshop! Hope you all are having a lovely weekend. For the past couple of years, I’ve been doing an already got it wishlist, which actually just feels like the origin story of influencing, but I promise I’m doing it in good taste… if that’s possible. If you’ve got anyone nagging you for gift ideas, here are some of my most tried and true favorites. I have ‘em, I love ‘em. Maybe you’d love them too!
First things first, a straightener brush. Mine’s from L’ange and was a gift for my March birthday in 2020, you know, like two seconds before the world shut down. It collected dust for the first few years of its life, while I roamed around the house wearing an endless supply of sweatpants and rocking unstyled (and often greasy) hair. Since my return to the office two years ago, I’ve transitioned from a.m. showers to p.m., and let me just say, this device is a game changer for slept on hair. It’s two products in one, and has worked for my hair at its shortest and longest. If you’re looking to save time with simple styling, you’ll love this! ALSO, it’s $29.95 right now with code CYBER!
Up next, and this isn’t revolutionary, but if you’ve been waffling on a Kindle, this is your sign to go for it! My Kindle was a quarantine purchase that’s had a ton of use. I definitely prefer real books, but, the Kindle gives me instant access to any book I’d like, and let’s face it, it’s space friendly in an already cluttered house. This new matcha colored one has me looking like 😍.
I grabbed a Uniqlo Round Mini Shoulder Bag last summer while I was in Chicago with my besties for the Eras Tour (okay, braggy), and upon rediscovering it this summer, it was my bag of choice. It’s a lovely shape and size, and I love the price point at just under $20. Mini too mini for you? They offer a regular size, too!
Okay, so I know this one is a little tough to think about now, but everyone needs a neck fan for summer. Kyle and I went to a Reds baseball game last summer, and the temperature was hovering right around 100° - for once in our lives, we planned ahead and ordered neck fans. Aesthetically, they’re giving I’m wearing my noise canceling headphones as an accessory, and practically, they’re keeping you cool on a hot summer day. Highly recommend!
If you have narrow feet, boy, do I have the shoe for you. We took an NYC trip two springs ago, and approximately 12 hours after arriving, I realized the tennies I brought were done for. I visited a Foot Locker in Times Square and snagged a pair of Nike Pegasus, which I’d never tried before. Nike tends to run narrow in general, but WOW, I’ve never owned a better fitting pair of shoes. I’ve probably logged 100 miles on them at this point, and they’re still going strong. Feet not so narrow? They offer an extra wide fit as well! (These aren’t the ones I have, but they’re so pretty!)
Tell me, what’s something you love that you’d recommend as a gift?

A splurge gift that I love: a heated vest! I think there’s one company known for it and a bunch of knock offs that are also probably fine. But life changing especially for travel!
