I’m a sucker for tradition, and every year, I dig around on the google machine until I come across a fun Christmas Tag that’s different from the previous year’s. I wasn’t having a ton of luck this year, so I decided to create my own Christmas Tag! And, since I’m new to this space, it’s very likely that I’m going to tag unwilling family and friends, and kindly urge them to post responses on their favorite social media platform. Ho, ho, ho!
Now, enough dilly dallying, I’m it!
The Rules
If you choose to partake in this tag, you must be wearing a footed onesie while doing so. I don’t make the rules! Oh wait, yes, I do

My Questions
What is your favorite holiday? Elaborate, please.
Mine is, has been, and will always be Halloween, BUT, Christmas is an incredibly close second. Both feel so cozy to me, but October is definitely the start of my holiday season! When do the Christmas decorations go up, and when do they come down in your home?
We notoriously wait until around December 10th to put up the tree, and I hate it because I blink and then it’s time to take them down. This year, we decorated right after Thanksgiving. While our decorating timeline isn’t always so clear, our takedown is non-negotiable, New Year’s Day, always. What is your most loved Christmas movie?
One of my favorite movies in general is Christmas Vacation, but for nostalgia’s sake alone, The Santa Clause is my favorite Christmas movie. If it were up to you, snowy or tropical for Christmas?
Snow 4E and always. We spent the week leading up to Christmas in Florida with my in-laws several years ago, and while lights in palm trees and shorts in December was magical and fun, snowy, cold Christmases just feel right.Best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
My little Chuck girlGiven?
I’ve never given any super extravagant gifts, but a couple of years ago I gave my best friend a custom Guess Who set with photos of real people in her life (and RDJ, bc why not?), and we had the most hilarious evening playing, “Would your person claim to be vegan?” Guess Who.If you could spend the holidays with someone famous, who is sitting around the Christmas tree with you and yours?
The obvious answer here feels like Taylor Swift. To explain, she just seems like the most magical, larger than life human, and what better addition to Christmas than more magic?!What’s your favorite holiday treat?
I absolutely LOVE my mom’s Eclair Pie. I can’t eat it anymore due to a bunch of pesky food allergies, but I know that it filled my belly for many holidays of yore, and it’s so freaking good!Do you have a Christmas Eve tradition? If so, do tell!
Ours is an absolutely massive Chinese takeout order! Occasionally, we’ll go eat at the restaurant, Asian Gourmet for those local to Columbus, but usually, we bring all that food back home and eat every last ounce while watching, probably, The Santa Clause.

Memorial day. Low stakes, long days... give me summertime. There's no pressure to do anything but relax! What could be better?
When do the Christmas decorations go up, and when do they come down in your home?
Typically after-ish Thanksgiving, but currently we still holiday cheer-less.
What is your most loved Christmas movie?
Miracle on 34th street, the version with Matilda.
If it were up to you, snowy or tropical for Christmas?
If I could have tropical year round with snow on one day of the year, I would choose that.
Best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
Ribbon Dancer. (Or the above mentioned custom Guess Who!)
Given?
I suppose a sweater I knitted!? It took the most time anyway.
If you could spend the holidays with someone famous, who is sitting around the Christmas tree with you and yours?
Santa.
What’s your favorite holiday treat?
DEVILED EGGS. WHY DON'T WE HAVE THESE YEAR ROUND!?
Do you have a Christmas Eve tradition? If so, do tell!
I like the idea of traditions, but I must admit we have very few since we both come from divorced families and there aren't any children running around. But I'm okay with the tradition of trying to let the holidays be stress-free?
.... What' s your preferred holiday potato?
I love them ALL. But it's mashed for me at holiday dinner. preferably chunky.
You’re my favorite person. I’ll forgive you for deviled eggs because your added question is perfect
